This policy explains how we process personal data of people who visit the HOŻA Steakhouse website, contact the restaurant, make a reservation, or enquire about the private room and business meetings.
2. What data we collect
We may process data you give us by phone, email, reservation, the Meta form (Facebook or Instagram), or an external booking system. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, preferred date, number of guests and the content of your message. Technical data such as IP address, device data, logs and cookies may also be processed when you use the site.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- handling enquiries, reservations and event arrangements — GDPR Article 6(1)(b);
- contact, security, service quality and claims — GDPR Article 6(1)(f);
- accounting and tax duties — GDPR Article 6(1)(c);
- marketing messages — GDPR Article 6(1)(a), where consent was given. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
4. Recipients
Data may be shared with providers of hosting, email, IT, reservations, payments, accounting and legal services, only as needed. Depending on how you contact us, recipients may also include TheFork, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and Google. Some providers may process data outside the EEA, using GDPR transfer tools such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep data
- enquiries — for as long as needed to reply and handle the matter, then generally no longer than 3 years for claims;
- reservations, contracts, payments and accounting records — for the period required by law and limitation periods;
- marketing data based on consent — until consent is withdrawn or you object;
- technical data and cookies — for the life of the file or until consent settings change.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing, and you may withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland.
